Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad

The Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO) is an IOI-like competition for students in the South Asian / Western Pacific region. It is a online contest in which students from the region compete in their respective contest sites. This is a good opportunity to practice your programming skills and compete with contestants in the Asia Pacific region. The details are as follows:

Date: 9 May 2009
Time: 9:30am to 2:30pm (Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the contest)
Venue: HW312, Haking Wong Building, The University of Hong Kong
All HKOI training team members are eligible to join the event. You must register for the event in advance.

Due to administrative issues, EDB decides that Hong Kong will be involved in APIO 2009 as an observer role. The arrangement of the competition is unchanged EXCEPT students will not compete for medals in APIO 2009.
